Introducing TruckSeries!

Getting Started with Our Latest Enhancement for Class 4-8 Trucks

It’s a great day! We’re very excited to introduce TruckSeries to our first group of customers today. TruckSeries really is the next generation of repair information, putting complete service information for Class 4-8 trucks just a few mouse clicks away.

The first thing to understand about TruckSeries is that it’s built on a modular platform, allowing you to access multiple applications on a single website, with a single login. We’ve packaged all our industry-leading estimating, diagnostic trouble code and repair information for medium and heavy trucks into a single, user-friendly application.

Once you’ve logged in, TruckSeries will populate the main menu with the products in your subscription. Previously, each of the truck products was accessed on its own individual website, with a separate login required for each. Now each product is available as a separate module inside the TruckSeries application at https://truck.prodemand.com.

TruckSeries has retained the basic product names, but inside the application you’ll see that the modules are listed by category, NOT product name – see the table below.

We know that change of any kind can be uncomfortable —stressful, even — so we want to share some tips here for getting started with the new modular format. We’ve put together a “Getting Started Guide” to help make the transition smoother for our existing customers. You’ll find step-by-step instructions for logging in and accessing all of the truck products. Customers who are brand new to our truck products will also benefit from these tips.

Before you get started with the Getting Started Guide, let’s make sure your Internet browser is ready for TruckSeries. The new platform is optimized for several Internet browsers:

  • Chrome
  • Firefox
  • Internet Explorer 11 (or newer)

We recommend you use Chrome for TruckSeries. If you’re not using Chrome already, here’s How to Install Google Chrome on your computer. If you use Firefox or Internet Explorer, be sure you’re running the latest version of the browser. Here’s a link to a blog post with answers to questions about Internet browsers. This post talks about ProDemand, our repair information software for automotive techs, but all the information also applies to TruckSeries.

The Getting Stared Guide is intended to be a basic introduction to TruckSeries. To get to know TruckSeries better, we highly recommend you visit the online Get2Know Training Center and sign up for one of the live training webinars. Our Truck Trainer will walk you through the TruckSeries application and give you great tips for mastering the software. And you’ll have a chance to ask your specific questions, too.
